End-to-end mobile push notifications
Incident alerts now reach your phone in seconds via native push. The pipeline handles token management, batched fanout, and delivery receipts.
LiveStatus can now send native push notifications to iOS and Android devices via Expo Push. When an incident is created or updated, the push pipeline fans out notifications to all team members and subscribers who have opted in.
The system manages push tokens automatically: tokens are registered on app launch and cleaned up when a device uninstalls. Delivery is batched into chunks of 100 to stay within Expo's rate limits, and we track delivery receipts to surface bounce rates in the admin panel.
Push preferences live alongside email and SMS preferences in the subscriber settings page. You can receive push only, email only, or both.
