Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By accessing or using LiveStatus (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. LiveStatus is operated by Leonenko Group LLC, a New York limited liability company (“LiveStatus,” “we,” “us”).
2. The Service
LiveStatus provides public status pages, uptime monitoring, incident management, and related tools to businesses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with reasonable notice for paid plans.
3. Your Account
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use LiveStatus.
4. Subscription and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Refunds are provided at our discretion within 14 days of initial purchase.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use LiveStatus to send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited marketing
- Use uptime monitoring to attack, scan, or load-test systems you do not own or have permission to monitor
- Upload illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content to your status pages
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label LiveStatus without written permission
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law or regulation
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.
6. Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload (status page names, descriptions, logos, incident updates, subscriber lists). By using LiveStatus, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and display this content as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Free, Starter, and Pro plans are provided on a best-effort basis without an SLA. The Business plan includes a 99.99% monthly uptime SLA. If we fail to meet the SLA, you are entitled to a service credit calculated as a percentage of the monthly fee for the affected period. Service credits must be requested within 30 days of the incident and are the sole remedy for SLA failures.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVESTATUS'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LiveStatus harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York.
