LiveStatus is operated by Leonenko Group LLC (“LiveStatus,” “we,” “us”), a New York limited liability company. Our website is https://livestatus.dev. Contact us at hello@livestatus.dev.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you visit our website, sign up for an account, or subscribe to a customer's status page hosted on LiveStatus.

We collect three categories of information:

• Account data — name, email, hashed password, plan, and Stripe customer ID when you sign up for LiveStatus.
• Status page data — the services, incidents, and subscriber lists you create for your own status pages.
• Usage data — anonymous Vercel Analytics pageview counts, IP-derived country, browser type, and referrer. We do not use cookies for marketing or behavioral tracking.

• To provide the LiveStatus service: hosting your status pages, monitoring your services, and sending incident notifications to your subscribers.
• To process payments via Stripe (we never store card numbers).
• To send transactional emails: account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts, incident alerts, and occasional product updates.
• To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers required to run LiveStatus:

• Vercel — application hosting and analytics
• Neon — PostgreSQL database
• Stripe — payment processing
• Postmark — transactional email delivery
• OpenRouter — AI for the sales chat assistant (only chat messages, never your account or status page data)

Each provider has their own privacy policy and is bound by data processing agreements where applicable.

Account data is retained until you delete your account or request deletion. Uptime monitoring data is retained for up to 1 year on Pro plans and longer on Business plans. Usage analytics are retained for 30 days. Backup snapshots are retained for 7 days.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can do most of these directly from your account settings, or email hello@livestatus.dev with the subject “Data Request” and we will respond within 30 days.

EU residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. California residents have rights under CCPA including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of sale (though we do not sell personal information).

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is cookieless.

LiveStatus is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, please email us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will email registered users at least 30 days in advance. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision.
